Boca da Valeria, Brazil - January 13, 2024 - World Voyage Day 11 - 3358 Steps

Yester day was quite tiring so we decided to stay on the ship today.

The tenders were going out at 7 AM this morning.

A different type of shoreline from what we have been seeing.

The girls relaxing on the verandah.

Strange drink. I ordered a double Johnny Walker Red neat with a glass of ice and water. Drank some of the water, poured the JWR in the glass and it only mixed with the top half of the water and ice. Baffled Bob.

Executive Sous Chef Tushar giving the thumbs up.

The reason for the thumbs up. It reads Linda - Turnip Roasted. I just mentioned to him that Linda really loves turnips and we had seen several bags being loaded onboard in Fort Lauderdale, but she hadn't seen any on the menu yet. The next thing we knew he was writing the above down in his notebook and telling Linda she would be having her favorite tomorrow night. Talk about treating your passengers right!

It's a wonderland of mouth watering, eye popping cakes which is something Holland America only does on World Voyages.

And as a fitting end to the day we returned to our room tonight to this beautiful towel swan. Even lazy days can be great days.
