Out to the Cape and Back, Cape Town, South Africa - 30 Nov. 2018

There is a lot of interesting architecture in Cape Town, even if we only see from the van window as we depart for another day’s outing. You can tell we are out of the bush when the wildlife is a pigeon. Just to forewarn you, today is about the landscape. Though a beautiful model or two might show up on occasion. How did that chubby old guy sneak in this photo? It’s a Pied Crow. Really. Some people think the funicular should go all the way to the top. There are times when it’s an advantage being bald. Nothing like a photo to show where you have been. Been to Barrow, Alaska, S. E. Cape Tasmania and the tip of South America, now we can add the Cape of Good Hope to our list. And here’s the photo so took. Show off. It was wall to wall people taking photos. And almost wall to wall penguins. Ruffle shirted penguin. See, we really were here. Electricity? The spot were he gave his first speech after being released from prison. And comes the end to another great day.
