Around the World in 128 Days - Sea Day Off the China Coast with a Couple of Surprises

 Travel Day 71 - March 14, 2024 - 8,630 Steps

The kind of sea that bring a smile to Linda's face.

Kim's guests today were Jose and Grace, a wonderful couple who work in the section of the Lido Buffet where we usually sit, so Linda made sure she had a front seat to see them being interviewed.

Jose said something funny.

I think Jose may have said something that Grace didn't agree with.

Jose is once again back in Grace's good graces.

And a song ends the interview.

Instead of a red letter day, it was a green light day for some reason.

After Hong Kong, Vietnam will be our next stop.

We were constantly passing by fishing boats today.

Did I mention we saw lots of fishing boats today.

The ship is constantly trying to avoid fitting the fishing lines marked by these floats.

We didn't know what a debrief was, but now we do.

Why all those charts and formulas are important.

They are constantly doing simulations.

We are so blessed to be onboard a ship where the top two officers are like this.

Ms. G&T doing her thing.

I saw a bunch of birds in the air, grabbed my Nikon camera off the bed and started shooting. I thought it was a flock birds diving into the water for fish until I brought the photos up on the computer. Unless I miss my guess, that's a pod of porpoise in the phot.

Must be feeding time.

This one we like.

Happy hour with everyone drinking something different.

Easy to tell what was on the menu tonight.

Towel frog?

Getting ready to watch SpaceX launch their Super Heavy Starship from Boca Chica. If we were at our RV lot in Texas we could watch it from our driveway. Still, it is awesome to be able watch it on YouTube while onboard a ship off the coast of China.
