Because We Can

This post is going to be different. A synopsis of our evening at the Tattoo, then just some photos followed by a few videos of the hundreds of photos and dozens of videos we took. Our evening began with a three course dinner at the Scotch Whisky Experience, each course accompanied by a specially selected whisky and an always filled glass of wine. Then it was on to the Tattoo stadium were we had seats at the end of the field with soft seats and backs. The Tattoo lasted two hours and it a true spectacle in every sense of the word. What follows really doesn't do it justice. And to top it off, we had the "total" Tattoo experience because as it was nearing the end the sky opened up and the rains came pouring down. Enjoy, we really did.

Lots of photos today, post split into two parts, you have been warned. Our first outing today took us down to the waterfront. It look like somebody pulled the plug and all the water drained out as these boats were sitting in the mud. The way she's more it's impossible from this area to get a full view of the decommissioned yacht of the Queen. However I was lucky enough to be able to take a picture of a queen boarding the yacht. And even better she's the queen of my Life. When the queen orders you to go sit in the captains chair you do exactly as you're told. Smart Bob. I never was sure what this was supposed to represent or exactly what it was. That is the weight in gold object, not the beautiful young girl standing beside it.
