Around the World in 128 Days - Super Bowl Sunday at Sea

    Travel Day 40 - February 11, 2024 - 13,250 Steps

The ship seems so large when we walk back to it when moored in a port. On the ocean it is a different story.

Sometime the ocean is a deep blue and other times it is not. Or to use a famous reply in motorsports history, It's just air Jack, just air.

Each piece means something, but what?

This tanker passed some distance away from us this morning.

Red footed Booby overhead. There were four of them this morning dipping and diving as the repeatedly flew across the ship's bow.

Where are all the people. Oh yes, it's Super Bowl time.

Even the casino is nearly empty with only a single person playing the slots.

No TV meant no one in the bar,

Food for the fans outside the World Stage.

I peeked in during the first half and it was packed. Unfortunately i didn't have a camera on me. Not as many fans staying for the second half.

Plenty of room in the balcony.

Meanwhile work goes on in the ship.

One of those storage rooms hidden in plain sight.

Not everyone was interested in the Super Bowl.

We are about to cross the International Dateline which means that tomorrow the 12th of February 2024 will never exist for those of us going all the way around the world and back to Fort Lauderdale. Don't know whether I like that or not because when you get this old everyday is important. Pitiful Bob.
