Around the World in 128 Days - A Very Rough Sea Day

Travel Day 100 - April 12, 2024 - 5,833 Steps

We both opted for the same breakfast this morning.

It's the wave height that made it rough and with not a lot wind there are no whitecaps, but rough it was and it got worse as the day progressed.

Our position this morning.

A photo of Linda waiting for the start of Kim's interview taken from a different angle than usual.

The guest was the person in charge of training every crew member as the report for duty on the ship.

What I've been doing the last few days, only the blog I'm writing and the book change.

Linda was a real cookie monster today, cookie crumbles on her ice cream and a cookie on the side.

When the seas are up it is never silent in our cabin.

Todays, craft items were an evil eye bracelet and earrings. This one was planed for when we were in Turkey, but then the route was changed while the craft stayed the same.

Well done girl!

Happy hour in the Crow's Nest with my favorite snack mix. Jane takes good care of me. This is also a great place to watch the bow move up and down, then seeing a huge wave approach knowing that soon there will be a big rise and dip with a jolt, shuddering and banging of the ship.

By now darkness has descended but another round of snacks arrives.

Chris Bannister was back on the World Stage again tonight, this time with singer-songwriter music accompanying himself with just his acoustic guitar. We both agreed he was much better with his performance of John Denver music the other night.
