The Galapagos Islands Day 7 - May 26, 2017
Early morning in the Galapagos.
Looking around us we saw a number of different boats, including a glimpse of what life in the past was like.
I thought she was bringing me a cup of coffee. Guess I was wrong.
But seeing that smile made it all okay. Lucky Bob.
Another smile that makes the day brighter. His food was really, really good.
Ready for another shore excursion.
Visit to a recent lava flow.
Having fun.
Having fun in the lava, Linda style.
Lava heating pad.
Everyone does it differently.
Must be a wet landing coming up.
Underwater photos courtesy of Linda.
Bob using his video camera.
Panamic Cushion Star and Chocolate Chip Star photos courtesy of Linda, with a bit of post processing by Bob. Linda keeps this up and I may have to give her my new camera and let her take all the photos.
Rice coming up for lunch.
How to make wonderful seafood ceviche.
Linda was at it again.
I really enjoy snorkeling.
Lava Heron.
Our destination was the tiny white object at the top of the peak. Linda’s reaction to the climb: “I could have skipped that one.”
Her body language speaks volumes and she isn’t even to the top yet.
Bending to the task at hand.
She still has the arm on her hip.
One last rest stop before the top.
We all made and photos were the order of the day.
What a view, no wonder Linda was so (fill in the blank) about the climb.
Just to prove we made it to the top. Whoop-de-do.
Just having some fun with the blog.
Last remains of a booby,
No more mountains to climb. Yea!!
Finally, a half way descent penguin photo.
How not to take a penguin video. Bad Bob. Very, very Bad Bob.
Judy doing the penguin walk.
Another Galapagos sunset straight out of the camera. They really do look like this!
Moments later.
Captain and officers of the boat.
The end of the day, sharks at the stern of the boat.
