Rain and Sydney Today
Back on my yo-yo diet again today. Maybe this time I will stick to it until dinner. Bulbous Bob.
Much of our morning was spent seated on this bus looking out rain streaked windows driving around Sydney. Not exactly our idea of Outdoor Travel Adventure, which is what OAT stands for.
When they did let us outdoors it didn’t take me long to find something worth looking at.
My favorite photo of the trip so far. Now if I’d only have tightened my gridle it would have been perfect.
When I asked her what kind of tree it was she said, “Big.”
Convicts cut this bench in the rock overlooking Sydney Harbor so the wife of the governor could watch for the arrival of her husband whenever he returned from a trip.
The sign says what the tourists need.
The weather wasn’t co-operating with what this view was supposed to be like.
This is supposed to be a beach babe on the famous Bondi Beach, the beach where Speedo’s were invented.
You never know what you will see at Bondi Beach. I have to say that I could get to like my new body, but Linda looks just the same as always.
Something a little unusual. At one time this street was paved with wood blocks.
One of our stops today was at an opal store. Needless to say, Linda was in seventh heaven. After the video, talk and demonstration she looked around the store to find the one she wanted. Unfortunately all the ones she liked were out of her price range.
See what I mean!
We don’t know what the name of this bird is, but it sure is pretty.
Unfortunately we had no time to take a trip out into the harbor on this sailing ship.
The symbol of Sydney.
A different view.
The Sydney Harbor Bridge.
One of the halls inside the Opera House.
Touching the exterior.
The thing about Sydney is there are interesting sights every which way you look.
