Table Mountain, The Botanical Garden and Townships, Cape town, South Africa - 29 Nov. 2018

I look at the breakfast buffet and say, “Wow!” Linda looks at the breakfast buffet and says, “They have Nutella!!!!!” It’s what you do up on top of Table Mountain. With Linda’s penchant for taking flower photos, I walk a fine line between posting too many and two few. And on that note our visit to Kirstenbosch ended. Hopefully Ms. Flower Child will be happy with the quantity of flower photos posted.  Skeptical Bob. This was once a street lined with buildings in a vibrant section of Cape town. The problem was, it was a black and colored section of town. More room was needed for whites close to town. The locals were all moved out of District 6 and placed into Townships, then all the buildings were demolished so new buildings for whites could be built. Apartheid was not just a word.  It is very hard to write about what we saw this afternoon as emotions come boiling to the surface and parallels become so apparent, hence I will just be posting photos. The End of the Main Tour and on to Cape Town - 28 Nov. 2018

Twelve feet and only two are on the ground. What a way to say goodbye to Chobe. Baboon posers. The part of the group going back home today. The question is, are they happy to be going home or are they happy at being rid of us? Everyone has a cell phone. The rest of the world knows climate change is real.
